hour of sundown cut

Hello,

Thanks for the app but I have one big problem. The hour of the sundown is cut on my phone. I only see the hour, not the minutes.

I have the 0.13.13 version of suntimes on Android 10 and my phone is a FP3.

Ok, I find why. I adjust the font size on my phone. I pull it to big, not normal.
So, can you solve this problem?
But, in the app, it will be great to have the possibility to change the size of the text!

Thanks for reporting this. Its an old problem that I thought it had been fixed - I guess not entirely.

It's caused by the way that table is layed out (by its headers). Depending on the size of the screen (device dependent), some languages with longer phrases for sunrise/sunset have a tendency to break the layout. The layout should degrade gracefully to avoid cropping (and for most device/language combinations I think it does).

Its a little curious that changing the font size fixed the cropping. I would be interested to see another screenshot with the larger text. It might contain a clue as to why the layout isn't working.

Besides fiddling with the layout, I think I have another solution for this. An option could be added to toggle text in the headers and display icons only.

btw, this should be possible since v0.13.10 by creating and applying a custom theme (Settings -> User Interface -> Appearance .. click the palette icon on right side). That might be a work around to this problem.

I'm in black theme and I can't change it. If I select a another theme (light or dark transparent,...) It don't save it😳

Thanks for the screenshots. This is helpful.

The theme support in the app is incomplete, but it is news to me that it won't save.. Try this. Settings -> User Interface -> Appearance -> Dark Theme -> Click the palette icon .. select the dark theme, then click copy (icon next to the checkmark). Give it a name, then click save. Then click apply (checkmark). Now close the app entirely and reopen.

For me this results in a very small font (since the default widget themes have tiny fonts). Now it should be possible to go back, edit the new theme, and experiment w/. different font sizes. BTW, the support for themes in the app needs some work (they are really meant for the widgets) - things like the background color aren't applied to the app, so maybe this is what you are experiencing when you say it won't save - however the font sizes and text colors should be applied.

aha! I just looked closely at this - there's another bug here - after selecting from those default widget themes, the change doesn't show up in the drop-down. It continues to display 'default' after selecting dark, transparent, etc. Broken..

Its working right when I create a new theme (as described above).
