Disable send button in v2

First, thanks for the great library.

I’d like to ask: How can I disable the send button in v2?
I found issue #430 but it only covers v1.

My use case:
I want to disable the send button during certain chat states (e.g. while waiting for a response from the bot), so the user can’t send multiple messages while a response is pending.

Is there a recommended way to do this in v2?
Any code sample or guidance would be appreciated.
