We are running fluent-bit 3.2.1 on all of our Linux/Windows servers and we are planning to collect log file via operator, but it is still using 3.1.7.

Describe the solution you'd like

Please include 3.2.1+ into the next release of operator.

@cw-Guo Thanks for the help and per the update in #1444, it seems there is no dependency on fluent/fluent-bit, is that right? If yes, will this be in the next release of fluent/operator?

@duj4 fluent-bit v3.2.5 images are available here: https://github.com/fluent/fluent-operator/pkgs/container/fluent-operator%2Ffluent-bit/353011461?tag=v3.2.5

You can run this image with the most recent release of fluent-operator (v3.2.0).

@joshuabaird thanks for the reply, I noticed that version for sure, what I was thinking is if there would be a newer version of Fluent-Operator than 3.2.0

The fluentd/fluent-bit images that fluent-operator uses are released on separate schedules and they don't always align. But, you're free to run the most recent fluent-bit (or fluentd) images with v3.2.0 of the operator by specifying a tag in the Helm values here.
