[Application Development] Is there an approximate target timeline for releasing the new version of OptimismMintableERC20Factory which supports custom decimal places?

Issue Description

I was wondering when the version of OptimismMintableERC20Factory which supports custom decimal places will be part of an OP stack release? I am working on a project that is to be deployed to Base, but would be able to benefit from the newly adjusted version of OptimismMintableERC20Factory. Base representatives have expressed that they would deploy it once it is part of an official OP stack release, so I just wanted to check in to see if there might be a rough timeline.

Hey @JayWelsh, I'm not sure. Let me ask around and report back.

There are no L2 predeploys being upgraded as part of the upcoming network upgrades. We have just been asking folks to deploy the factory themselves temporarily.

If you want to provide feedback on this request, I suggest starting a thread here. I can put this in front of product and engineering.
