Feedback on the new Eclipse C editor

I greatly prefer the previous or classic editor. Here are the reasons:

• Does use the classic color scheme. All my custom color scheme settings are lost.
• I rely heavily on the right click popup menu in the editor. Most of the items in the popup menu have nothing to do with code editing and is accessible with the Project Explorer popup menu. I.E. all the version control menu items.
• The classic popup menu has these critical items:
  • Open Declaration
  • Open Type Hierarchy
  • Show In
  • References
    Because these popup menu items are missing or not working with c sources, I will never use the new editor

Unfortunately the new editor does not inherit those settings. But the Eclipse Light theme comes close to it.

Which Eclipse/CDT Version are you running? Do you use a vendor specific Eclipse?
