WAHA Plus Question

I am thinking about buying WAHA plus, because Firstly its an awesome software and I need multiple sessions and security.
But if I want to update the image for example, do I need an active subscription or is it really one time

You can pay for one month and install or update your Waha Plus image during that time. After your subscription ends, you won’t receive new updates anymore, but you’ll still keep your Waha Plus installation at the version you had when it expired.

Thanks for the info, was kind of hoping this wouldnt be the case, but okay, guess I'll have to subscribe for monthly.

I've seen this one, but it was confusing it the Docker key actually expires or not after an expired subscription.
