The scoop nightly version has not been updated from 03-31-2025 to 04-01-2025, and I'm not sure if this is related to the adoption of the new version format.

It could be. I think we should revert it to YYYY-MM-DD format. Thoughts @lilnasy ?

I don't understand why scoop is confused about version numbers.

I found the current date format more readable, but no harm in switching back.

It might be a quirk of how scoop compares between version strings. When using a standard string sort, YYYY-MM-DD will result in the most recent date at the top. That is not the case with DD-MM-YYYY.

I might be able to update the scoop manifest to construct a YYYY-MM-DD version string from the new format using regex.
