"Hot Corner" still present after "Display Activities" disabled

Although I disabled "Display Activities" in TweakTool there is still the "Hot Corner" on the upper left. Not sure if this is intended or a bug. In either case it would be nice to get rid of it.

Yeh the hot corner (and also pointer barriers) are created with the panel, I never really thought about if that should be the intended behaviour or not.

I will look into it when I update to support the upcoming gnome-shell 3.8
