I'm trying this out to shorten hyperlinks in grep output. FWIW, currently my regex is

[delta]
    file-transformation = "s,([^/]+)/([^/]+)/([^/]+)/([^/]+).*/([^/]+),$1/$2/$3/$4/.../$5,"
