Yes, I'd very much like to have a third-party audit conducted — it's something I've always wanted to pursue. The only issue is budget.

If there were someone willing to do it for free, that would be ideal.

I’ve also released other cryptographic libraries as open source, including PASETO and HPKE, which are relatively widely used. So perhaps it's time to start accepting donations to fund an audit.

If you have any good ideas, I’d love to hear them.
