Upgrading from Cypress 14.5.1 to 15.7.1 breaks Cypress Studio

Current behavior

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start with an install of Cypress 14.5.1.
2. Start recording tests
3. Observe Cypress Studio functions as expected.
4. Upgrade to 15.7.1
5. Attempt to start recording tests
6. Observe an error stating that a proxy must be configured.

This blocks users who have no proxy config available via their secure work environment.

Desired behavior

Cypress Studio should continue to work without any extra configuration needed.

@emaggini-1 Hi, Studio does not current use any AI at the moment. It does however require an internet connection since we updated the architecture of much of Cypress Studio.

Could you be specific about the exact error you are seeing so we can help you resolve? A screenshot would do also.

2. Observe record icon is available and enabled.

3. Click and observe recording functions as expected.

4. Upgrade to Cypress 15.7.1

5. Observe record button is no longer available

6. Click on "edit in studio"
