Description
Following conversations with people in person, it makes a lot of sense to place a clear statement in the top of these pages that this CoC is a template.
Before this URL was live, there was nothing, and linking helped smaller events get a foothold on adding a CoC to their event.
Several years on, conferences should (must?) include direct contact details and details specific to getting support at their own conferences, so these pages now provide a starting point and shouldn't be considered the minimal work required to serve it's audience.
Wording, unless suggested shortly as something else will be:
This code of conduct page is a template and should not be considered as enforceable. If an event has linked to this page, please ask them to publish their own code of conduct including details on how to report issues and where to find support.
I'm no expert, and I'm not the demographic for this code of conduct. That's to say, if you, dear reader, have more suitable language, please comment here and hopefully we can come to a reasonable paragraph without too much back and forth.
Once this is released, I'll put a call out to Twitter to get translations put through for the block too.
