We should use https://mirrors.ocf.berkeley.edu instead of ftp.gnu.org whenever applicable for GNU.

Even with ftpmirror.g.o the connection is timing out... Sigh.

So our next option is to pick a good ftpmirror

I changed the mirror to https://mirrors.ocf.berkeley.edu . Let's see how it holds up.
