Grafana OnCall is gone in a year. Can Nightingale help?

...and as I heared, so is OpsGenie. Quite a time for SRE people that prefer on-prem solutions.

We had previously made extensive use of OnCall as our alert dashboard to see what is alerting where and quickly see what was wrong. However, with OnCall being moved to maintenance and sunset next year, we need a new solution. And so I came across Nightingale (and the accompaning Telegraf-ish tool, Categraf).

Right now, all our alert rules are in Grafana, query InfluxDB and that data is sent in using Telegraf.

So I would like to know: Does Nightingale integrate with Grafana (display it's alerts)? And, what does the typical "apert display UI" look like? I didn't find a screenshot of that unfortunately.

I understand that you are looking for an alternative to Grafana OnCall that can be deployed on-premises.

Unfortunately, Nightingale cannot serve as a direct alternative to Grafana OnCall. Nightingale works similarly to Grafana Alert, where it stores and manages various alerting rules, queries time-series databases like InfluxDB/Prometheus, and ultimately triggers alerts, notifying the relevant SREs.

The good news is that you can use Flashduty, a tool similar to PagerDuty/Grafana OnCall. Flashduty can integrate alerts from Grafana, providing a centralized display and response mechanism. Additionally, Flashduty not only offers SaaS services but also supports on-premises deployment. Below is a screenshot for your reference:
