  • A On the registration form, we have a list of language and questions that measure attendee demographics. Language and questions are as follows: Do you have a dis/ability that we should be mindful of as we try to accommodate everyone for this event? We want to encourage greater diversity within the open source community, and demographic information helps us achieve that goal. It is collected solely for the purpose of compiling, analyzing and disclosing aggregate statistics regarding diversity of attendance at our events, to help track progress towards meeting our commitment to diversity initiatives. Consent to provide demographic information for the purpose listed above is optional and purely voluntary, and is provided by selecting an option from the drop-down for the corresponding category. Demographic information is considered confidential and private. It will not be shared with others as part of your registration details, nor will it be used to subject you to adverse treatment.   • A A nursing room will be provided to aid in the comfort and accessibility for our nursing attendees. The room will be available all days of the event and will be located onsite.

• Noticed that the Family-friendly services are clearly stated on the website, if there is an existing resource that provides these details to attendees can you please point it out?
• Do you have a format for collecting feedback from speakers and attendees regarding diversity and inclusivity? can you describe how?

Hi Anita, To answer your questions: - I think you're referring to the child care section, yes? If so, currently there isn't a standing resource that provides childcare information to attendees. If an attendee contacts us, we'll provide the list of recommended vendors given to us from the local venue. - After every event, we send a post-event survey to all attendees that asks questions about their experiences. In that survey, we also have an open-ended section where they can tell us about any element of the event that we could do better on. Also, on our D&I page <https://events.linuxfoundation.org/open-source-strategy-forum-london/attend/diversity-inclusion/#contact-us>, we have language that specifically states "If you have ideas on how we can create a more inclusive event, please do not hesitate to let us know" with the contact information for the event manager. - This is a new project event for the Linux Foundation, so we don't have any historical information to put on a web page. Yes @Nebrethar, I think while we looking at Diversity & Inclusion, welfare of the speaker/attendees should be a concern too.

I feel that the Family Friendly metric checks are relevant, as: a) They make it clear what the event has as a family-friendly service and what it does not, and how they plan to help out with other aspects. b) The information is available on the website.
