Can't use to type anything on XWayland windows

When I run wtype test when I'm focused on an xwayland window (e.g. electron apps, chrome/brave, chatterino, gparted, etc), it just does nothing (sometimes it just unfocuses the text input, but still doesn't type anything. If I do the same on native wayland apps (e.g. Firefox, OBS, Dolphin, Kate, etc), it works as expected.

Is this a known issue? While searching, I found quite a few xwayland-related issues, but they all seem to struggle with specific characters, as opposed to me that can't run it on any text.

The cause of this issue is, I guess, there's some latency between when X11 clients receives keystrokes and when they read wtype's keymap. Here's what I guess is happening:

1. wtype creates virtual_keyboard_v1 and sets its keymap
2. Hyprland updates its keymap to the one wtype set
3. wtype sends keystrokes
4. Hyprland forwards keystrokes to X11 clients via xwayland
5. wtype destroys virtual_keyboard_v1
6. Hyprland resets its keymap to physical keyboard's one and notify it to xwayland
7. X11 clients query keymap to know how to convert the keystrokes they have received
8. Xwayland sends physical keyboard's keymap to X11 clients
9. X11 clients converts the keystrokes with physical keyboard's keymap instead of wtype's one, which results in some random keysyms.

Note: I have little knowledge of X11 protocol and my explanation might be wrong.
