Can I check FBA inventories for all marketplace via /fba/inventory/v1/summaries?

Hello,

I have two questions regarding the /fba/inventory/v1/summaries endpoint:

1. Can this API be used to determine whether a seller is using FBA for a specific marketplace? If so, what would be the expected response when FBA is not enabled for that marketplace?

According to the API documentation, the /fba/inventory/v1/summaries endpoint only allows a single marketplaceId in the request. However, I need to retrieve inventory data for all marketplaces where my FBA inventory is stored.

2. What is the recommended approach to achieve this? Should I make separate API calls for each marketplace, or is there an alternative way to fetch inventory data across multiple marketplaces efficiently?

Hi,
There is no direct api to determine if seller is using FBA or not. But you can call FBA Inventory API or [FBA Amazon Fulfilled Inventory Report](FBA Amazon Fulfilled Inventory Report) to check if there is FBA inventory or not, by which you can determine if they are using FBA. You can also check their listings as well to determine the fulfillment type -> getListingsItem.

However if you can provide your use-case and business impact I can raise a feature request for this.
