Phonetic search for spoken word vs music #7
Description
I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Do you know of anyone past or present that has done work on determining whether a particular audio track (sound wave) is music or spoken word? Perhaps, as a concession, do you know of a project that can find the presence of a particular instrument such as drums or a piano.
I have hundreds of thousands of tracks to sort between spoken word and music. I'm trying to avoid listening to each one.
I'm thinking the sound wave of "music" might have a particular set of features (perhaps a pattern) versus "spoken word" which is mostly inconsistent.
I would appreciate any insight anyone can provide.
