关于我们


中山大学知识工程实验室由沈颖老师创立于2020年。 沈颖,中山大学副教授,博士生导师,广东省消防科学与智能应急技术重点实验室副主任。高被引学者,多次入选“全球前2%科学家榜单”。主要从事智能应急、人工智能、大语言模型等理论和应用研究工作。出版教科书1部、发表学术论文160余篇。已授权专利18项,授权软件著作权17项;发布团体标准1项。主持20余项国际、国家、省部级研究项目,获广东省科学技术奖二等奖、广东省土木建筑学会科学技术奖一等奖、广东省安全生产协会应急与安全科技进步奖特等奖等荣誉。

实验室科研队伍由4名博士生、8名硕士生、5名本科生组成(25年9月)。全员长期从事大语言模型、自然语言处理相关研究工作。应急大模型神机的研发上线表明团队成员贯通了解大模型全链路的各个环节,熟知大模型的理论知识,掌握了相关的研究技能。全员有项目驻场经验,有工科人“遇到问题解决问题”的气魄。团队相关成果已刊登在KDD、NeurIPS、ICML、ICLR会议或期刊,并开源30多项研究工作代码和7个数据集。成果在多家单位中落地应用。

About Us


The Knowledge Engineering Laboratory at Sun Yat-sen University is a laboratory built by the School of Intelligent Engineering of Sun Yat-sen University in response to the development needs of artificial intelligence and computer network disciplines. It specializes in research areas such as large-scale knowledge graph construction and application technology, natural language understanding and generation, information extraction, knowledge computing, information retrieval, data mining, and intelligent question answering systems. The laboratory has established an efficient research and development environment. From theory to practice, it has deeply mastered the basic principles and some key technical issues in the fields of network mining, semantic Web and distributed computing, and has accumulated extensive experience in system development. We have fostered extensive and in-depth collaborations in the field of semantic Web, and some research results have been recognized by domestic and foreign counterparts.

The laboratory is headed by Associate Professor Shen Ying. The laboratory members include more than 10 graduate students pursuing their doctoral and master's degrees. The research team maintains a stable composition and a reasonable academic hierarchy. The research group has been deeply involved in the theoretical and application research work in the field of artificial intelligence and knowledge graph for a long time. It has a solid research foundation in the field of intelligent computing and knowledge engineering. The group has consistently been undertaking research projects related to knowledge computing and reasoning, as well as multi-modal learning.

In recent years, the project team has published more than 100 related articles in internationally renowned top SCI journals such as IEEE TOC, TKDE, TNNLS, TIP, TAC, and in top international conferences such as AAAI, IJCAI, ACL, EMNLP, and ICLR. Additionally, team members have been invited to deliver keynote speechs and dozens of branch reports at flagship artificial intelligence conferences such as ACL, AAAI, IJCAI, and SIGIR. The team has achieved multiple champions in artificial intelligence international competitions, and the Best Paper Award in the top computer conference COLING. They have been authorized 7 patents, obtained over 20 software copyrights, and made multiple research codes and 3 datasets publicly available.

The Knowledge Engineering Laboratory of Sun Yat-sen University is a dynamic team, eager to communicate and cooperate with domestic and international counterparts. With a realistic and pragmatic style and an indomitable spirit, we will embark on an innovative path in the field of natural language processing in an environment of solidarity and mutual assistance.
