Portal 2 Crosshair bug #459
Description
I opened Portal 2 a few days ago, Everything was normal until Chell acquired the portal gun. There was no cross-hair on my screen. It seemed like I was firing Portals with no clear direction. I kept loading levels hoping it would be fixed. Then when I upgraded my Portal gun with two portals. Nothing changed. I knew the game was bugged so I tried verifying the integrity of Portal 2 files. I reloaded it and nothing changed. I tried it again twice. Nothing changed. Then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Portal 2. Still no cross-hair. My friend who is a Portal 2 expert informed my their were Console commands. He told me to try Crosshair 0, then crosshair 1. Crosshair 1 did appear but the orange and blue portal circle is missing. Then removing the portal gun, adding it back, upgrading it. Still nothing. I lost hope that day and tried restarting my computer and running a file repair. Nothing has changed and it has been a week. Steam, community and steam support have not helped at all. These bugs are really stubborn. I am worried my Portal 2 is broken or corrupted and I don't know how to fix it.
