Problem getting hemispheric subset with NCSS

Trying to download a hemispheric subset of GFS 0.5 degree data from Unidata's thredds server (looks like a 5.5 snapshot around 14 Sept 2022). The following requests:

https://thredds-dev.unidata.ucar.edu/thredds/ncss/grid/grib/NCEP/GFS/Global_0p5deg/GFS_Global_0p5deg_20221109_1200.grib2?var=Geopotential_height_isobaric&time=2022-11-09T18%3A50%3A37.350657&west=0&east=360&south=0&north=90&accept=netcdf4&addLatLon=True&vertCoord=25000

and

https://thredds-dev.unidata.ucar.edu/thredds/ncss/grid/grib/NCEP/GFS/Global_0p5deg/GFS_Global_0p5deg_20221109_1200.grib2?var=Geopotential_height_isobaric&time=2022-11-09T18%3A50%3A37.350657&west=-180&east=180&south=0&north=90&accept=netcdf4&addLatLon=True&vertCoord=25000

result in a return with a single longitude line of data. It's possible to work around this by e.g. changing 360 to 359.9. It would be really nice if instead the original queries worked like the user might expect (and did on TDS 4).
