Pre-submit checks
- I checked for similar issues beforehand, but could not find any, not even closed ones. I could not add my bug report to any existing issue.
- I am going to take the time to to fill in all the required details. I know that the bug report will be dismissed otherwise.
Describe the bug
Error Message
Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway.
Expected behavior
I expected to see a dialog allowing me to install the Launcher Icon of the AppImage I just ran.
Steps to reproduce the issue
From command line, ./monero-wallet-gui.AppImage
The AppImage runs fine but the AppImageLauncher does not succeed.

Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS, Intel Core Ultra CPU, Mesa Intel graphics, software all up to date

Additional context
I did see similar issues from a few years ago, and tried the recommended approaches but for example in the case two libraries were recommended to install, my system already had those installed.
