Bug description

When setting a "Never Any" item, The system is putting everything as the food instead of separating it out.

2 bay leaves should read as 2 bay leaf . Instead, it is parsing as 1 2 bay leaves .

in my testing broken in v1 as well.
seems like the overall functional logic of the parse function is not handling the automation correctly. Last change according to git was 12.2023 so likely already broken for a long time.
