Import subscriptions from Newpipe

I have +200 subscriptions in Newpipe, and I'm ok with keeping them in sync manually, but I'd rather not manually import over 200 subscriptions from Newpipe.

newpipe exports as a json file, i can probably write a script to generate a :command to subscribe to all channels in the file

Mostly out of scope, but I could imagine that finding a sort of default specification/standard for YT subscriptions, playlists, etc. that is cross-compatible between Newpipe, Freetube, etc.

As mentioned, almost completely unrealistic or at least requiring some tremendous communication between projects, but I wanted to share it anyway...

I think different projects might have different perspective on the ideal DS to represent data. Feature parity might be an issue as well. I think there could be different solutions

• Optional Youtube account sync (with Youtube API credentials)
• Self-hosted sync server (that would require a standard format)
• Adapters offered by Youtube-tui to support other clients (Some Android clients allow importing/migrate from client X) + syncthing

didnt rly look into this but both newpipe ang youtube tui uses some kind of json format for subscritption, should be too hard to convert between them

however, continuous synchronisation might be an issue because i would assume both apps load subscriptions on launch and save on exit due to the lazy, so if both are open are the same time, one version may be lost
