Drifty is an open-source, interactive file downloader system built in Java. It offers both a Command-line Interface (CLI) and a Graphical User Interface (GUI), providing flexibility and ease of use.

Drifty is released in 4 phases: Alpha, Beta, Release Candidate, and Stable. If you want to test experimental (Alpha/Beta) or near-final (Release Candidate) versions, you can download them from the Drifty website or try the Docker images. Check the available docker image tags for more details.

Microsoft Defender might flag Drifty as unverified since it's not commonly downloaded. You can proceed safely by:

1. Clicking on the three dots.
2. Selecting Keep.
3. Clicking Show More → Keep Anyway.

To mark Drifty as safe:

1. Click on three dots.
2. Select Report this file as safe.

• Windows: Click More Info → Run Anyway.
• macOS: Click OK, then run:

  sudo spctl --master-disable

  Try running Drifty again.
