Keyboard shortcuts stops working after closing menus two levels deep

1. Open the meatballs menu
2. Open either of the second level menus (audio, video, etc)
3. Click anywhere outside of the menu to close it
4. Notice that no keyboard shortcuts, like space or m or arrows, works anymore

It seems that submenu is stealing focus unconditionally (and does not drop it after closed). For example, the same reproducing steps as above with an additional going back from submenu before clicking anywhere to close does not create this issue. I guess we will have to work around this.
