Question: Per-service HAProxy templates

hi

thank you for making this project available, we are currently using this in our mesos/marathon setup with HAProxy and recently had an ask about configuring bamboo for "Per-service HAProxy templates" similar to marathon-lb.

Can anyone confirm/deny if this is possible/supported with bamboo?

Depends what the requirement is from your team. In most cases, if the services has some naming convention, the template with existing helper function can produce a very complex scenario. In other cases, you can also deploy a second group Bamboo with completely template if the requirements are difficult to implement in a single template. I couldn’t find any documentation from marathon-lb about the definition of pre-template. If you know more details, it would be helpful to clarify. Cheers
