Describe the feature

It would be a good idea to have some internal tests to make sure the integration is working properly. While you should always manually test it would be a good addition to check things you might not check when manually testing.

Great idea, but TBH, I haven't a clue how to go about this. Since it's so tightly built with home assistant, it makes it a bit trickier. That being same, That being said, there's a really comprehensive suite of docs that they have on this, so definitely something that's possible.

I'd love to get this merged into HA mainline one day, and I'm sure this sort of thing would be a requirement
