Can tabBar height be changed dynamically?

I am working on an Expo app where I want to increase the height of the tabBar as the user scrolls down, with react-native-reanimated. Just wanted to know if this can be done with react-native-collapsible-tab-view. I tried implementing this with animated styles but the problem is that the screen snaps back into its default position whenever I try to scroll down.
