... i think. The currently most used hardware in OpenIPC is the Hisilicon Hi3536DV100, but there is no support for any playback on this module of OpenIPC.
Maybe this fragmented landscape was created with good intention, maybe it just evolved over time.
To support the Hi3536DV100 i am able to provide you with a complete SDK with sourcecode examples for H264 and H265 decoding to get this MCU better supported. The SDK is especcially for the integration of a Hi3536 MCU with a Linux operating system.
It is about 470MB in total size and contains quite a lot of really useful documents , tools and many examples of sourcecode for all the different features of that MCU.
If there is any interest in porting the pixelpilot to another hardware and by that making it more useful on the most available piece of hardware for OpenIPC available all around, just let me know...
