Feature request: Indicate mouse clicks somehow

I'm using SSR to time some interaction in an application I'm QAing (LibreOffice actually), to use in a bug report. It is easy to see when things move on the screen, but - it's not possible to determine, from the recording, when exactly the mouse was clicked. It would be nice if mouse clicks were made visible somehow, e.g. as text overlayed on the video, or as meta-data in the MKV file, or even in a text file saved on the side.

OS X handles this nicely in its default screen recorder.
