Release for 1.0?

Hi, the master branch looks like it's supported 1.0 for a while now — it would be great if someone could make a new release.

There have been a bunch of design changes in the air so I've been putting off the release until they got ironed out. I think that's going to be a longer process than I initially thought though, so I just tagged a release.
