Thanks for the PR! Did you join GitHub just to fix busylight? I'm still working on this issue, but this might be a good temporary workaround. Could you elaborate on the environment (Windows version, Python version) that you tested in since I haven't determined a good way to automate this test (it depends on real hardware being available and an eyeball to verify that the light was activated).

I'm sorry I didn't reply. I hadn't seen the e-mail.
I was using Python version 3.13.3 and Windows 11.
