Akanksha pointed to https://www.drupal.org/project/advancedqueue/issues/3003158. Adam mentioned that the bottle-neck is the database locking

Akanksha asked how best to collaborate. They would prefer to use ECA. Additional components under consideration for improvement. Akanksha will write up some proposals to bring to a Tech Call or the April TAG meeting.
