Question about season mappings

This maps seasons to the month they start in, but for sorting purposes this might not work as expect. For example, I would think of winter 2025 as having passed, but if we map 2025-24, it would map to December 2025

We are looking at using this to map EDTFs to a single date for sorting purposes - #141 - which is why this is coming up now

I'm curious what this is used for, and whether it should be changed to 04, 07, 10, 01? Or whether that would break things.

Waiting for 141 to be merged then I am planning to add extra functionality to allow site admins to choose how they want their seasons to map.
