Description:
This request is to enhance the Privacy Sandbox Analysis Tool's Command Line Interface (CLI) by introducing an option to specify which fields users need in the output. Specifically, there is a need to include the 'description' field in the output, particularly in the 'affected cookies' CSV file. This field is currently not available but would be highly beneficial for detailed insights and auditing purposes.
Motivation:
The primary motivation behind this feature is to improve the utility and flexibility of the Privacy Sandbox Analysis Tool for various user needs. In its current state, the tool does not allow users to customize the output fields, which limits its effectiveness.
User Story:
As a Web Engineer, I want to be able to specify which fields, especially the 'description' field, appear in the output of the Privacy Sandbox Analysis Tool's CLI so that I can generate more detailed and informative audit reports for the sites I am evaluating.
Acceptance Criteria:
- Implement an option in the CLI to allow users to select specific fields for output.
- Ensure the 'description' field is available and can be included in the 'affected cookies' section of the output.
- Verify that the output customization does not affect the performance and accuracy of the tool.
- Update documentation to guide users on how to use the new output customization feature.
