Screen is skewed incredibly far to the side

This is really crazy! What can I do to provide some more useful information? (Given that this issue is probably not easily reproduced :)

Could you try to record your screen using screenrecord:

adb screenrecord /sdcard/file.mp4

And pull the file:

adb pull /sdcard/file.mp4

Is the video ok?

That works fine, although it does give a message that is unclear whether it's a warning or just info:

OK, thank you for the tests. I don't know how screenrecord do on that device.

What if you record a raw H.264:

adb exec-out screenrecord --output-format=h264 - > test.h264

Interrupt with Ctrl+C, then play it in VLC:

vlc test.h264

?
