Description
Raised during as pain point during development of trade show dashboard was the lack of ease with which to set text per segment and lack of ability for a user to react (i.e. no click event).
The story goes:
- A production dashboard has 5 columns of state for stations 1 ~ 5
- Each column as a number of tiles "Home Pos", "Cycle Complete", "Stage Norma/Fault"
- the "Stage Normal" tile displays the stage states "Normal" or "Fault"
- When it displays "Fault", the user wishes to navigate the the "Station x Details" page
- When a "Home Pos" tile is NOT "on", users wishes to navigate the the "Station x position" page to see why the jig is not at home position
This is a very common scenario for mfg HMIs
