[Bug Report] Installing using pip fallsback too old version

Describe the bug
When installing using

pip install tinyscaler

The following happens

Hi,

Can you install from the repository directly (clone and then pip install .) and check if that works? If it doesn't, can you add version='1.2.8' to the end of line 26 in setup.py and see if that works? Finally, please check that your setuptools is up-to-date (pip install --upgrade setuptools).

Correction: Not at the end of line 26, but at the end of line 27!
