I am encountering the following problem:

cargo run -p compiler --release
error: package compiler is not a member of the workspace

Windows 10
already tried nightly and stable version of rust

Check out the CryZe/romhack-compiler project. You need that one now and then compile with romhack build. The instructions here are outdated.

Thanks for the quick reply.
can you give me some quick instructionions on how to use "romhack build" in combination with the debug menu mod. The GUI Patcher keeps crashing when trying to select the files.
