dude. this is so frustrating.

they pretty much broke their diff feature.

i'm still working on this.

I'm using the extension when I know all changes in a file are relevant to a commit, but this issue definitely limits its effectiveness.

Sorry guys. I just have not had time. I'll see if I can sit down tomorrow and get something working.

From my first look into it the VSC Git extension no longer exposes the git URI for the files (or at least it moved and I cannot find it.

So I'm at a loss as to how to get the correct URIs for the left and right side of the diff.

I'll do some more digging tomorrow.
