[EngSys] Release inactive packages with 6.x dependencies

Summary

To ensure that we keep dependencies aligned, we should ship packages without active development work taking place when we move to a new major version centrally. This will also ensure that packages include the latest set of targets and trimming for built-in dependencies.

Scope of work

For the Feb release cycle, the following should be released under a new minor:

• Microsoft.Extensions.Azure - [Extensions] Prepare Microsoft.Extension.Azure for release #48133
• Azure.Extensions.AspNetCore.Configuration.Secrets - [Extensions] [ContainerRegistry] Prepare release for Extension packages and Container Registry #48159
• Azure.Extensions.AspNetCore.DataProtection.Blobs - [Extensions] [ContainerRegistry] Prepare release for Extension packages and Container Registry #48159
• Azure.Extensions.AspNetCore.DataProtection.Keys - [Extensions] [ContainerRegistry] Prepare release for Extension packages and Container Registry #48159
• Azure.Containers.ContainerRegistry - [Extensions] [ContainerRegistry] Prepare release for Extension packages and Container Registry #48159

Release on pause until the last week of February 2025:

• Microsoft.Azure.WebJobs.Extensions.EventHubs
• Microsoft.Azure.WebJobs.Extensions.ServiceBus
• Microsoft.Azure.WebJobs.Extensions.Tables
• Microsoft.Azure.WebJobs.Extensions.EventGrid

@jsquire regarding the WebJobs extensions: if 1.10.0 is the central version, does this mean we can't take on any new versions of the WebJobs extensions, or are you planning to override the central version (to 1.8.0) for now until we can use 1.10.0 with Functions?

@liliankasem: We'll have to take a short-term override to v1.8.0 for any releases that we do prior to the 8.x changeover.

Sorry, I could have sworn that I responed to this the other day. Now that the host deployment is done, we'll be doing those packages as part of our normal release cadence early next week.
