How to switch back to last focused tab?

Right now I can find that CudaText only offers switching to next tab (Ctrl+Tab) and previous tab (Ctrl+Shift+Tab).

This is ok if the tabs I switch to and from are one after the other. But oftentimes I find that I need to switch between two tabs which are far apart in the tab list. In that case a keyboard shortcut to switch to last tab I focused to before switching to the current one would be beneficial for my workflow. Kind of like Alt+Tab but for tabs. Right now I use mouse clicks to switch which is very inefficient and painful.

Is there any plugin or anything that can be used to achieve this?

Ideally I would like Ctrl+Tab to switch to previously focused tab if it's possible. If Ctrl+Tab+Tab... works that would be a plus.

It's descipt:

UI tabs: Use "Tab switcher" dialog on Ctrl+Tab, Ctrl+Shift+Tab. This dialog
sorts tabs by recently used order. If option is off: switch tabs without dialog,
and ignoring recently used order.
