Grid item margin adjustment

It would be nice, Especially for the sake of mobile clients where screen space is a premium, to give the option to adjust the amount of empty space present between grid items. To my knowledge, this isn't currently possible without directly editing the css.

Here are a couple screenshots to help demonstrate what i mean. The first is the current spacing, And the second is what i could cludge together by blindly disabling things in inspect element. This would represent the 'max' spacing adjustment, Where most of the margins between the images are removed and each element is nearly touching.

A couple mobile screenshots to illustrate the point further. Comparing copyparty (left) to a native android filemanager (right), There's quite a lot more margins, and quite a lot less image to look at! This can make copyparty somewhat uncomfortable to use compared to other options on mobile devices.

I think it would improve the multiple row grid UI experience on mobile considerably if there were options to reduce or even fully remove these empty margin spaces.

You can get roughly the same effect as on the right with a

[global]
  html-head: <style>#ggrid{gap:0em;}</style>

in the config file, enabling center crop, then clicking the minus button next to "chop" a few times.
Might be a reasonable feature to have a button to just toggle a mode like that? I'll think about it

Thank you! That snippet has made a useful reference for making my own simple edits.

Although, I'm not able to eliminate the empty padding on the left and right edge of the grid. If a full mode ends up implemented, It should ideally stretch the grid so the previews fit to the screen/window edges.

I've worked with the grid code before so I think there's possibly going to be a few other problems with it too, and it'll probably take some javascript to get it to look just right and then take some backend work to actually get it to be as simple as a toggle. I doubt this is on top of the list for important things to work on for the main dev right now, but I did like how it looked when I was testing on my phone, so I think i'll be giving it a go myself sooner or later. Thanks for the inspiration!
