--home flag not working

Describe the bug
Create a new container with separate home folder. after entering the container, run an application the xdg configs for the applications is kept outside in the main home folder instead of the specified home folder

To Reproduce
create a new container with --home flag

Expected behavior
when using the --home flag the user configs should be kept in the set home folder

Desktop (please complete the following information):
Arch KDE plasma

I have delete container , flushed podman and reset and created new container but the problem still remains
