Hi, I am using PugiXML in my software application and my customer is asking for some information about the company who created/owns this. Is there a website/document where I can get the requested information?

Like most open-source projects, pugixml was not created by a company and is not owned by one. It's distributed under MIT license which terms are, naturally, available in the license file: https://github.com/zeux/pugixml/blob/master/LICENSE.md

My customer is mainly asking for the country of origin of this software. They need this information for their compliance related needs.

Can you please let me know which country this software was developed in and where is it being maintained now?

It's been maintained in United States for the last decade if that's what the question is. I'm not sure how you'd establish a country of origin precisely though: it has been created over the course of the last 20 years and has contributions from many engineers in different countries.

And no, it's not possible to have a call to talk about the needs of your clients - please respect open source software ethics when using software created by others.
