Search, search settings, and search history thoughts

1. When cycling through Search history using up or down arrows, it would be nice if the 3 settings (Match Case Sensitivity, Match Whole Words, and Use Regular Expressions) where restored too... not just the string.

2. Can we set or clear the 3 search parameters through the Command Palette? I don't see this, yet. But what about completing the feature set with on, off, and also read commands?

3. I think the ability to easily save a search string and all three settings together in some sort of "bundle" or snippet that could easily be used in testing, training, tech support and helping out Future Self would be useful too.
