Default code text size is huge / changes not saved over app refresh

First and foremost, thank you for producing an amazing app. Love it. My comments are only meant to help improve, so please take that with this thought in mind.

Compared to any other modern IDE I can think of, the default UI is relatively "large," text-wise. This normally wouldn't be an issue (as I suppose it's more of a personal preference), except for two things: command +/- only controls the code window, not the whole UI, and changes with said commands aren't persisted over app relaunches - which gets somewhat annoying over time.

Hi, I have the same issue, and it seems settings like these are saved only when using Zed for projects (i.e. you open directory in it), but not when used for individual files. Even things like window size don't get saved, only theme does survive between my sessions 😅
