We all know that vite will automatically use rollup for bundling in the production environment, so how can we directly use or not bundle for certain performance-insensitive scenarios? I think this can improve the cache hit rate of a single file.

This sounds great and Native ESM is definitely the future, but for now it may not be appropriate to use it directly in a production environment.

1. not all users in a production environment may be using a browser that supports Native ESM.
2. many developers will use vite to develop third-party libraries, which requires generating different versions of packages
3. this may take up too many network resources and network requests if each third-party dependency is multiple files and each dependency requires multiple requests instead of being built as a single file.
4. rollup is actually very powerful, and perhaps in the future we will have the option to build a Native ESM version of the package.
