Thank you very much. When I opened it after installing, that was blank. Now it is there. However, since then I installed mosquitto on the raspberryPi. Maybe that made a difference? |

I think I'm missing a step: 2 -> Where can I find the button in HA to generate the public and private keys? `Pair key with your car (if not already done)

I feel like I am missing something obvious. I added Tesla-local-control through the add-on store. HA 2025.6.1. I set up a raspberrypi zero w and I paired the bluetooth to the Tesla (2016 Model S). The add on documentation says
Fill in the required settings:
vin_list: single VIN or list of VINs separated by either of | , or space; Required
mqtt_server: Hostname or IP of your MQTT server; Default 127.0.0.1
mqtt_port: MQTT service port; Default 1883
mqtt_useranme: MQTT Username; Default anonymous
mqtt_password: MQTT Password
debug: Activate if you are having issues, you will most likely not need it; Default off
But there are no configuration settings to fill in. I can't figure out where I am supposed to enter that info.
Help would be appreciated.
